From the beginning of the story we are given a beautifully detailed view into the lonely world Julie exists.The jump from a dream lover to an actual man in real life was somewhat surprising and Tammy's entrance into the novel is abrupt. There is more inner dialogue in this story that detracts from the dynamic of the characters.
